Product Description: SCATT-2000 is a highly integrated, versatile dual-channel wide-band mobile satellite channel simulator. It simulates channel impairments of propagation delay, transponder nonlinearity, multi-path fading, Doppler frequency shift, phase noise, and additive white Gaussian noise. Simulations are implemented digitally for precision and repeatability. Wide-band input/output signal signal interfaces are provided ranging from base-band, 70 MHz IF, L-band and C-band. Other interfaces can be customized for ultimate efficiency and ease of operation. The objective of SCATT-2000 is to give engineers an system integrators an all-in-one test tool for mobile-satellite (or fixed-station-to-satellite) channel simulation during product development, type acceptance, or final system integration phase.
