Product Description: SGS-1000 is a system product that provides satellite telecommunications service operator a low-cost, turn-key system from C-band antenna, RF, channel modems, ACSE host facility, to terrestrial network digital switching. It is a single-channel-per-carrier (SCPC) based design for demand assigned services. It can be applied for either Ku_band or L_band mobile satellite telecom use with a variety of services including low-rate telephony, data, fax, and high speed data up to 512 kbps per channel. Its ACSE protocol stack is derived from a widely used Inmarsat B and M call processing technique capable of handling simulataneous calls at 99.995% availability. SGS-1000 software and hardware have been tested and being used by the largest Inmarsat LES operator over 15 years.
