Product Description: MTU-100 is a transceiver card (core module) for the Inmarsat Swift-64 aeronautical terminal use. MTU-100 is hosted by a Terminal Control Unit (TCU) which serves also the primary system management interface to other airborne satcom equipment. Multiple MTUs may be configured by TCU providing 128kbps or higher data rate services. Each MTU-100 supports Swift64 high speed ISDN data UDI, SPeech and Audio, mini-M voice, data and FAX calls. MTU-100 has passed Inmarsat case approval for aeronautical enviornment uses and complied with ARINC and RTCA specifications. The MTU-100 functions under Inmarsat global area network (GAN) via Inmarsat 3rd and 4th generation satellites for worldwide coverage.
